Full-Time Management Trainee

Job Description

The Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Management Trainee will go through a 12-months training program to assimilate into the role. You will embark on an exciting journey to be part of the Operations team. This role will provide learning opportunities for an individual in management of a food atrium, from the exterior facade to the internal hygiene and inventory control. Your primary role includes (but not limited to):

• Take charge of daily operational matters of the atrium and ensure smooth operations flow
• Assist the Outlet Manager on projects related to atrium
• Uphold and enforce Company’s Rules & Regulations, as well as to ensure compliance to government regulations
• Supervise on the operational effectiveness & service standards of Tenants and Cleaners
• Prompt follow-up and working alongside with Tenants and Cleaners on various requests / promotion campaigns
• Conduct routine outlet Hygiene Checks and Inventory Checks
• Maintain good standards of outlet’s overall aesthetics (Food/Stall Display) and grooming standards of staff
• Point-of-contact for external contractors or suppliers
• Conduct weekly roll calls
• Propose and implement innovative work-related processes
• Prepare daily and monthly reports on outlet operations; and
• Any other duties as assigned by your Superior

Extensive classroom training & on-the-job training will be provided to ensure new joiners’ learning and exposure with Food Republic Malaysia.

The Ideal Candidate
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Effectively trilingual in English, Malay and Mandarin (written and spoken) to liaise with English, Malay and Chinese speaking business associates
• Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and Public Holiday
